{"id":158393,"date":"2020-09-10T08:21:14","date_gmt":"2020-09-10T12:21:14","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/mafw.org\/?p=158393"},"modified":"2024-01-21T22:02:14","modified_gmt":"2024-01-22T03:02:14","slug":"9-8-2020-for-all-maf-riders-and-ride-leaders","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/mafw.org\/staging\/9-8-2020-for-all-maf-riders-and-ride-leaders\/","title":{"rendered":"9\/8\/2020: FOR ALL MAF RIDERS AND RIDE LEADERS"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">To all MAF RIDERS AND RIDE LEADERS,\u00a0 \u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a09\/8\/2020<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">On our website when you log in please review the \u201c<em>Temporary Ride Guidelines.\u201d<\/em>\u00a0 We are still limiting rides to 10 riders and rides at same starting point need to be spaced by 15 minutes.\u00a0 These guidelines were put in for the safety of our riders and their families.\u00a0 A few reminders and requests:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Don\u2019t show up for a ride unless you have signed up.\u00a0 No guests.<\/li><li>If ride is full you will be put on a waiting list and will be notified if someone cancels.<\/li><li>If you sign up for a ride please cancel if you change your mind and please cancel with enough time to give someone else a chance to sign up.\u00a0 That means the night before a day ride.\u00a0<\/li><li>If you sign up for a ride at a certain time please stay with that time and please don\u2019t jump to another time.\u00a0 This may result with rides over the 10 rider limit.<\/li><li>Oldwick General Store (Gourmet Deli and Grill) is open.\u00a0 They have tables outside and the usual outside sitting area for us. In addition to pastries, coffee, etc.\u00a0 they now sell pizza, etc by the slice. It is pricey but they were pricey all along.\u00a0 In the opinion of\u00a0<em>bikewithmario\u00a0<\/em>with the outside sitting area, rest rooms, cleanliness, quality of food, etc.\u00a0 it is one of our best stopping places.\u00a0<strong>\u00a0Check it out!!!<\/strong><\/li><li>Thanks to Glen and the MAF Cue Sheet Team we now have rides in our library for the Lake George area.\u00a0 There are 5 starting points and all start with LG.<\/li><li>Any questions on how to work the new website or on the temporary Covid guidelines check the website when you log in.\u00a0 Always remember selecting the Freewheeler Logo top center brings you back to start of the website.<\/li><li>Recently I received some information on chip sealing and other road hazards and closures. These include Long Hill in Great Swamp and Back Brook Rd.
