{"id":228101,"date":"2025-03-30T20:59:52","date_gmt":"2025-03-31T00:59:52","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/mafw.org\/hell-of-hunterdon\/"},"modified":"2025-03-30T22:28:46","modified_gmt":"2025-03-31T02:28:46","slug":"hell-of-hunterdon","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/mafw.org\/staging\/hell-of-hunterdon\/","title":{"rendered":"HELL OF HUNTERDON"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">I was just informed that this Saturday Apr 5 is the Hell of Hunterdon.&nbsp; &nbsp;This is not a MAFW ride so you need to register via the link below.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The Hell of Hunterdon is the Mid-Atlantic\u2019s Premier Spring Classic &amp; Mixed Surface Ride; it is the ideal way to open your cycling season.&nbsp; The courses wind their way through scenic farmland and country towns in New Jersey\u2019s Sourland Region.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><p>We are offering 3 Official Course Lengths- the courses have been modified due to the affects of Hurricane Ida (2 bridges on our former route are still out)<\/p>\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>The Long Course is 81 miles with 13 dirt, gravel, and hardscrabble sectors (16% of the course).&nbsp;&nbsp; Total elevation gain is 5800 feet (according to RideWithGPS).&nbsp;&nbsp; This Course has 2 Aid Stations.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The Medium Course is 55 Miles long with 8 unpaved sectors (13% of the course).&nbsp; Total elevation gain is ca 4000 feet (according to RideWithGPS).&nbsp; This course has 1 Aid Station<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The Short Course is 31 miles with 4 unpaved sections (10%) of the course).&nbsp; Total elevation gain is 2000 feet (according to RideWithGPS).&nbsp; This course does not have any Aid Stations<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>All Courses can be shortened by 5 miles, which also removes ca 500\u2032 of elevation gain, by taking the posted short cut.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The ride is followed by a Post Ride Celebration that includes hot food, cold drinks, and door prizes in a festive indoor\/outdoor environment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.hellofhunterdon.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Hell of Hunterdon<\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>I was just informed that this Saturday Apr 5 is the Hell of Hunterdon.&nbsp; &nbsp;This is not a MAFW ride so you need to register via the link below.
