{"id":234673,"date":"2025-10-13T18:49:29","date_gmt":"2025-10-13T22:49:29","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/mafw.org\/e-bike-registration\/"},"modified":"2025-11-06T14:42:24","modified_gmt":"2025-11-06T19:42:24","slug":"e-bike-registration","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/mafw.org\/staging\/e-bike-registration\/","title":{"rendered":"E-Bike Registration"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Good evening, friends.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Today I received an email from the New Jersey Bike and Walk Coalition and here is the content:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Hi Michael,&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">I wish I could provide that information and you are not the only inquiry we have gotten about this<br>The sad truth is MVC does NOT have a registration process for Class 3 bikes even though it is the law.<br>Since there is new legislation being proposed for registering other e-bikes this is coming to their attention once again.<br>We have reached out to MVC and my understanding is they are in the process of creating that registration system.<br>Although we assume when a law is passed the relevant state department will implement the necessary procedures burt clearly that has not been the case.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We\u2019ll keep you in touch as this story unfolds.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">If there is anyone interested in following this legislation and possibly getting involved in influencing the crafting of it, please let me know.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Have fun; stay safe.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Michael<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Good evening, friends.
