{"id":52070,"date":"2020-05-27T21:03:18","date_gmt":"2020-05-28T01:03:18","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/mafw.org\/?p=52070"},"modified":"2024-01-21T22:08:50","modified_gmt":"2024-01-22T03:08:50","slug":"ride-schedule-important-announcement","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/mafw.org\/staging\/ride-schedule-important-announcement\/","title":{"rendered":"Ride Schedule: Important Announcement"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Members,<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">I have been in contact with the presidents of BTCNJ and the Princeton FW as well as other local clubs.&nbsp; We have similar thoughts on the limited and gradual re-opening of our Ride Schedules and have agreed to cooperate.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">I have also heard from many of you personally with incredibly varied opinions about when we should re-open our Ride Schedule.&nbsp; Everything from<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u2018Hurry up, damnit! What are you waiting for?\u2019<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">to<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u2018Even if you restart the rides, I won\u2019t ride with the club for a few more months\u2019<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">to<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u2018It\u2019s not safe yet\u2019.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>We will have a soft open with a limited Ride Schedule as soon as it is safe.<\/strong>&nbsp; Please monitor the website.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">When we do re-open the Ride Schedule, we will adjust your membership expiration date by the amount of time we have been suspended.&nbsp; We appreciate you sticking with us during these unprecedented times.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Perception is important!&nbsp; We cannot appear to be flaunting or ignoring social distancing concepts.&nbsp; And we should take a little time after state easing to let it filter to the general public, law enforcement and park rangers \u2013 we do not need our club name on anyone\u2019s desk blotter accused of not following the rules.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We appreciate your cooperation!&nbsp; &nbsp;Who knows, we may be back in full swing sooner than you think.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Remember, we are all ambassadors.&nbsp; <\/strong>Even when we are not doing \u201cclub\u201d rides together, please ride responsibly.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Andrew Stroukoff<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Members, I have been in contact with the presidents of BTCNJ and the Princeton FW as well as other local clubs.&nbsp; We have similar thoughts on the limited and gradual re-opening of our Ride Schedules and have agreed to cooperate.
