General Ride Information

Ride Schedule

  • Ride Schedule, by default, shows the rides for the next 7 days.
  • Make a habit of checking the Ride Schedule and your email before you leave for a ride!  The ride may be canceled or may start earlier or later (see below).
  • The ride schedule shows the Pace and Terrain of each ride. If you haven’t ridden with us before, choose a pace slower than you think you can maintain and see how it goes.
  • Note that a ride leaves the start point at the stated start time.  Allow time to get ready (~20 minutes). A safety talk will be given before each ride.

Signing Up for a Ride

  • To sign up for a ride hover over RIDES then click on SCHEDULE to display the schedule.  Select ride you want to do under TOUR/RIDE SIGNUP.  Select YES on PLANNING TO ATTEND and then make sure your name appears on the rider list.  If you decide later to not do the ride go back to the ride and select NO.
  • When you sign up for a ride, the ride leader is relying on you to show up.  Respect their efforts. If your plans change, notify the ride leader by text or phone.
  • Please remember that non-member guests can sign up for a ride to see what the Club is like.  They may not be familiar with our customs; be friendly!
  • A member can bring his/her under-18 child or children on a ride, but they must remain with him/her at all times Members are responsible for supervising their children.

Ride Cancellations and Changes

  • Rides can be canceled for inclement weather or because no one has signed up to go.  Before you leave to go on a ride, check the ride schedule to make sure it has not been canceled (you will see **CANCELED** on the ride schedule)
  • The ride leader may make changes to the ride. Be sure to check the ride schedule for any comments. You will see RIDE CHANGE on the ride schedule if the ride has been changed. Click on “+” to see additional information about the change.
