Time changed to 11:30 am for better temperatures.  It’ll be cool but sunny and winds from the south. It should feel warmer than the predicted temperature. A nice ride to get some miles in before the snow storm.

This route climbs to the highest point in Tewksbury, on Mt. Grove. Then travels around Cokesbury and into Lebanon, before going back to Tewksbury. There are some familiar roads and hills and some not so familiar roads and hills, all very quiet and pleasant. Tour by Muffin Williams (2017)

Food stops:
Oldwick General Store - mile 29

Too slippery out there to ride, so I have to cancel

With snow in the forecast for Friday night into Saturday, let’s get this short ride in. It has enough climbing to warm you up and keep you comfortable.  I’ve scheduled the ride for a 12 noon start. Current forecast will be cloudy, light wind, with temperatures in the mid 30s. Other than a brief stop for fluids and an energy bar, we will be riding straight through. Come join me on Friday.

Ride thru Chatham, Meyersville, the Great Swamp, and Harding Twp. The downhills
seem longer and faster. Option for a shorter 20 mile ride.

Food stops:
Mountain Hill Bistro (mile 10.5).

I can’t think of a better way to celebrate Groundhog’s Day. I can guarantee it won’t feel like Spring but probably the best weather day of the week. Ride is listed as C terrain but math says B. There is some climbing on the second half so let’s say C+. All riders welcome but I plan to maintain a moderate pace considering possible icy conditions in spots.

A scenic ride to the food stop in Ringoes, then a few hills to test the legs.
