Ride Coordinator Update

-With the warm weather, be sure to carry enough water and to use sunscreen. Club motto is “Nobody Rides Alone” and this is especially important during hot weather    This motto also applies to ride leaders who are obligated to sweep for most rides.

-Just a reminder that the posted time for a ride is the time that the ride leaves.  Be sure to arrive 15-30 minutes before the start time to give yourself time to prepare for the ride. Recommend adjusting your tire pressures at home in case you encounter issues. 

-Having navigation on a ride is essential.  All rides have cue sheets and Ride with GPS files.  At least print out a cue sheet for your ride.

-Be sure to pick a ride that you can maintain the minimum pace but not to worry since ride leaders will not drop you unless you choose to try a B or A ride.

-If you sign up for a ride and decide later that you can’t attend the ride, be sure to remove your name from the ride.  This is especially important if there is a waiting list for that ride.
