Think of it as 250' of climbing for every 10 miles - a piece of cake. There will be 4 rest stops. Tom Beringer is leading the same ride at a C pace. His son Chris will drive the SAG truck, which will meet us at the start and every 25 miles or so (25.6, 44.7, 69 and 81.6 miles). Feel free to bring a small bag with extra gear, food, drinks, and bring any “shareables” which will be made available for everyone (baked items are always a hit). In addition, the fragrant black earth onion fields and the quaint towns of Florida and Warwick complete this great ride. | Cycle through the black dirt onion fields of Pine Island, NY up to Goshen and then back to the quaint towns of Florida and Warwick. Excellent cycling on lightly traveled country roads. A very scenic ride including a brief visit to the Historic Goshen Race Track, Appalachian Trail crossings and beautiful mountain views.
