Ghost Lake and  Shades of Death on Halloween

Same scenic ride through the farmlands of Allamuchy as tour #850, but reversed to put the lunch/rest stop at Tranquillity at a better point on the ride. By Steve Diamond (2015)

Food stops: Tranquility Store (mile 23). 4: Arnie Cohen(C), Sam (Sumant) Chandiramani(C), John Delaney(S)ridden

Time to check out the Halloween decorations in Lambertville.  Costumes optional. I encourage faster riders to please put in a C+ or B ride at 9:15am.

It has come to my attention that they might try to restrict crowds in Lambertville on Halloween by not allowing decorations.  Also on Halloween when you enter Lambertville you need to put on a mask until you leave the town.

This is tour 1103 with start point moved to Summer Road Park. A different way into Lambertville through seldom used roads with delightful aspects. Also an easy no strain route out of Lambertville with good views. Tour by Chaim Schreiber (2017).

Food stops:
Lambertville - Basil Bandwagon - mile 22 (note other options in Lambertville as well).
6: Manuel Coelho, Pam Gregory(C), Jeff Pollock(C), Jody Lefkowitz(C), Artur Holl(D+), George Decker(C)ridden
10/31Sat 9:30amC/B/41/2308Far Hills R.R.Sal Rizzo519 - Far Hills-Black River Ramble #256

Here's a ride I haven't done this year.  Have nothing else going on for Halloween?  Then come along!

Planned deli stop at Oldwick general store at mile 21.6.

Travel the scenic areas of northern Somerset County. Mostly rolling with a few good climbs. Oldwick and Pottersville General Stores are open for a snack. Very similar to Tour #787, except around mile 14 goes Halls Mill - Potterstown to get to Rockaway instead of Taylors Mill ("straight at Chubb").

Food stops:
Oldwick General Store (mile 22) or Black River General Store in Pottersville (no restroom) continue on Black River Rd at mile mile 27. 6 then make a u-turn after the stop and then make a left on Potterstown Road to continue on the course.
8: Peter Hogendorn, Jon Eiseman(C), Gerry Kirwan(C), Andrew Diorio, dawn marinelli(C), Juan Cortes, Paulo Piedade(C)ridden
10/31Sat 9:45amB/B/41/2308Far Hills R.R.Maurice Alvarez519 - Far Hills-Black River Ramble #256

Catching any interested overflow from Sal's ride.  It'll be lung-chillingly cold, so not going to be huffing and puffing up the hills.  But will be pushing on the flats to keep roughly to the listed pace.  Brr-ing your own cue sheets, and let's have some fun.

Basil Bandwagon 49 cents to refill water bottles

This is the same tour as Manny's, at a later time, and possibly a little faster. Faster riders welcome! Manny has mentioned that Lambertville has required anyone outdoors in town (that'll be us) to wear a mask. When we get to the intersection just before the town (mile 19.8 at Rt. 29), we need to stop and put on our masks, and leave them on until we leave town. Rest stop is at the Basil Bandwagon next to Rojo's Roastery.

Don't forget this is Halloween! Bonus points for costumes.
