Can't think of a more appropriate ride to celebrate July 4th.   We will be riding through Jocky Hollow that commemorates the sites of General Washington and the Continental Army's winter encampment from December 1779 to June 1780, where soldiers survived the coldest winter on record. Most of the climbing occurs first 10 miles and we will be going up Bailey Hollow Rd, a long and very steep climb.  Rest stop will be Ridge Bagel in Basking Ridge.  We do have the option of going through the Great Swamp to reduce the climbing.

This ride presents us with the extremes in Morris County cycling - the hard climbs presented by Bailey Hollow, Jockey Hollow and Leddell and the casual, unhurried meanderings of the Great Swamp. The hard work is early in the ride and it gets easier as the ride progresses.6: Manuel Coelho, Susan Kiely (C), Paul Zitelli (C), Mark Olinsky (C), Enkhchimeg LeDell, Maggie White (D+)Scheduled
