We will avoid riding in PA, and also take a detour at mile 18.6.  A good friend of mine says, "This eliminates the boring, flat busy road between Stockton and L’ville. Besides the coffee stop in L’ville is better than Stockton."  Here is the route.  https://ridewithgps.com/routes/53231009

This ride is now only 42.4 miles.

The break will be at Luminary Coffee at mile 22.8.

Leaving Summer Road Park, you will ride through historic Hunterdon County. The following prominent families have roads named after them: Voorhees, Case, Lambert, Rittenhouse, Dilts,  Buchanan and Woolverton. Cross the Delaware at Stockton to Dillys Corner (PA), left onto Rte 32 S and return via New Hope to Lambertville. Rest stop at the Lambertville Trading Company or at others coffee houses available. Then follow a comfortable route back to the start. Tour by Tony Marchand and Pat Kipp (2017).
