09/06 | Sat | 9:00am | C/C/42/1418 | Kittatinny St. Park - Limecrest Rd. | Sal Rizzo | 840 - Kittatinny-Greendell-Great Meadows | 34 | After my 2 weeks off from riding I need a flatter ride so I will add this one & hope someone will regroup for me during it. We have wo options for the deli stop. The first at Great Meadows on rt 46 at mile 23.9 with zero bathroom options but there is a porta john on Shades of Death rd where we'll be climbing a few miles before that stop. Or there's Tranquility later in the ride at approx. mile 33. We can decide before the ride or during it. There's always the ice cream option at the end of the ride at Traquility Farms for any takers. Now that the 2 Summer holiday's are over we're back on the Limecrest side of the park again. | Another great Sussex county ride with familiar roads in reverse. |

No one rides alone and the pace will be adjusted as needed so everyone stays together. | A short scenic ride to Duke Island Park that travels the scenic Peter's Brook/Raritan River Greenway, a short stretch on Old York and neighboring roads, and then travels through paved trails in Duke Island Park before heading back to the start point. A maximum of 5 or 6 riders and a casual or D pace on the paved trails is recommended due to the width of the paved trails and pedestrian traffic on the paths in Duke Island Park. 09/13 | Sat | 7:00am | NA/NA/0/0 | Special Event | Dennis Budnik | 952 - Special Event - Sourlands Spectacular | 0 | Join me for one of my favorite events. Fully supported and a beautiful route. You must register to do this ride (see description below). I will lead this as a "true C" pace and would like to keep us together, waiting on the tops of the climbs. No one should ride alone. I will sweep the back and jump to the front and hopefully others will take the pulls to help as a team. We will not look for speed but, rather "effort". If heavy rains predicted, I will not ride (but I will not cancel for those who want to go on). I will not ride if smoke/haze from the Canadian wild fires effects us that day. Looking for a volunteer to lead a faster and a slower ride. Questions: e-mail me: dennyboyrom@yahoo.com. | Ride to benefit Sourlands Conservancy. Start point is at Watershed Institute Campus, 31 Titus Mill Road near Pennington. Need to register via the link below. For more information on this event check out the link below.
